What are Logarithmic Functions?
- Logarithmic functions use a logarithm of x for the y value.
- They have a similar shape to a square root function, except they to negative values.
- All logarithmic functions have a vertical asymptote at the y-axis.
- This is because when you raise a number to a power, the answer cannot be 0, which is why the function is undefined for x=0.

- Increasing the value of the base "lowers" the function, and its horizontal section moves closer to the x-axis.
