Paradox

  • A paradox is a statement that may seem absurd or contradictory but yet can be true, or at least makes sense.
  • For example: "The further we get from the past, the more we know about this."
  • This appears contradictory but as technology improves we can learn more about the past.
  • Another example: "Deep down, you're really shallow."
