What Does it Look Like?

The future as I see it will be far more restricted than what it is like now, especially if no protest or resistance occurs.

Already today we are constantly tracked through the GPS in our phones, through the websites we visit, through the messages we sent. Over time, these different systems are being monopolized and integrated together into one. With all these trackers combined, the authority of this system could determine almost every single detail of our lives, from what we said first thing in the morning to what we ate for dinner.

Who is the One in Charge?

The one in charge will likely not be a single individual, for individuals are faulty and often vulnerable to misjudgment and ego. A collection of individuals with the same end goal (likely wealth or power) would be far more effective at controlling a large population than any single individual.

What Kind of Technology Do We Have?

Modern technology has made tracking people far more effective and easy than it ever has been. GPS trackers and microphones integrated into smartphones we carry around everywhere, barely noticeable cameras, satellites that can view the world down to the smallest details and algorithms that can organize and clearly represent all this data.

How Do People Behave?

Even now people are almost wholly ignorant as to the degree of surveillance they are under. Even then, most people are still trusting of authorities that have time and time again shown that the well-being of their people is not a priority. Education and media control will likely only make this ignorance worse than it already is.
