Authority Figures
- Authority figures are people in a position of power and respect, and generally have decision making power.
- Authority figures usually get their power from support from people, however, sometimes authority can be achieved through corruption and violence.
- Laws are created based on the wants of the people who vote for the authority figures who push for said laws. If authority figures were to go against the wishes of their supporters, they would lose the support that allows them to be an authority figure.
- Laws are based on generally accepted morals and norms.
- If I disagreed with the law, I would vote for a political party that shares my views. Otherwise, I would start a petition for said law to be changed, if it is important enough for me to do so. I wouldn't act radically for something not significant enough for me to worry about, even if I disagree with it.
- If I disagree with the political ideals of a country, it is often easiest to just move elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm running out of good options. ;D
- When faced with two conflicting decisions, the best way to help me decide is to weigh out the benefits and downsides of both options. If I fail to make a conclusion, I go with my gut feeling.
