Nation-States

  • A nation state is a state inhabited by and ruled over one ethnicity or group.
  • It is similar to a country but less inclusive, with only one prominent ethnicity.
  • Examples of nation-states would be most historical European countries.
  • For example everyone in France would be French-speaking French people, and everyone in Germany would be German-speaking Germans.
